Fasting Update – Month #1 Complete

I’ve completed my first full month of fasting with the 5:2 plan (5 days of normal eating and 2 days of fasting) and I gotta say, it was much easier than I anticipated. In fact, I’d go so far as to say this has been the EASIEST lifestyle switch I have made thus far! Once I got over the mental hurdle of what fasting entails, my body adapted very quickly to my fasting days. So I’ve tweaked my schedule a bit (changing from Tuesday/Saturday to Wednesday/Sunday) and am back at it. I’ve been doing a good deal of research into all of the science behind fasting and am putting together an article to encompass my experiences and research, which I will definitely share once I’ve completed it. There are so many good things that come out of fasting, I’m super excited about being able to share with you all!
