I’m very much a goal oriented person. I’ve always enjoyed making lists and the sense of accomplishment you feel when you see things being checked off. It’s a lovely visual reminder of not only what else you want to achieve but also, and possibly more importantly, how far you’ve come. For the first time this weekend, I really sat down and applied this concept to how I approach my fitness. It took some contemplation, and to help I started with 1 six month goal and then 5 goals that will be spread out over the next five months leading up to that six month goal. Then, at the recommendation of my awesome Hubby, I worked on setting actual dates for each goal to be reached. Doing this process not only helped me zero in on what is currently a priority in my mind, but also allowed me to refocus on specific goals instead of tackling everything at once-which I’m sure most can agree can be a bit overwhelming at times!
So as my last step, I’m posting my current list publicly so I can share my progress and have a level of accountability along the way. I can already report a considerable rejuvenation in motivation and focus! Excited to get started ☺️💪🏼💦
